Anyone interested in a ride to High Steel Bridge on Sunday? Leaving PA around 9 a.m.

My Triumph Street Triple. There are a few miles of gravel but I've been told the bike will do 'ok'. I'm meeting other riders near Lucky Dog casino below Hoodsport about 11:30. Will probably leave PA about 9:30. Let me know if interested.

Jay, I can't make it happen. Maybe you could post some photos from the bridge.

I left PA at 9:30 Sunday morning and met 4 other riders from a motorcycle forum called PNWRiders. A couple of the riders were from Bainbridge Island and others were from Port Orchard. We gassed up just below Hoodsport on 101 at about 11:30 and headed up to High Steel Bridge. The original 685-foot long steel bridge built in 1929 was used for logging and was a railroad bridge. The bridge has since been converted to one-way vehicle traffic. The bridge is 420 feet above the Skokomish River.

Who says street bikes can't do dirt, not a dual-sport in the group:

Sounds like a fun ride and some awsome scenery. Looks like a good bungy jump site too.
