Barn find

If in doubt, or it doesn't seem to fit elsewhere - put it here.

Thanks for thinking of me John.

I think the green one is a T500 titan, the red one may be an X6. Can't see the engine on the third, so no guess there. They all look a bit far gone for resurrection. I'd bet the brakes are rusted to the drums, given outside storage. I still have two in my backlog for work, and wife is still happy with me about the one that George found a new home. I think I'll pass on these. But thanks for the suggestion.

I am guessing early X6 in red and two late model '68-'75 X6 in green. When I worked at Aurora Cycle they would let me take any bike for the night or weekend.

The x6 was my favorite stop light to stop light racer. Ring ding ding whoosh

Those remind me of a motorcycle collection for sale in Forks .. Stored outside. So excited but didn't bring anything home ...

Red one appears to be a Suzuki T20 X6 Hustler (Scrambler)

Jay:

The one in your photo and, maybe, the one in John's would be the Hustler version. The scrambler came with high pipes, and a bit different gearing, if I recall correctly.

You are correct sir. It's a Hustler, I thought it said Scrambler on the oil tank. It says "Suzuki" on the oil tank.

I'm never positive about anything I remember from 50 years ago.

Lots of things have faded, and still others are crossed in ways that couldn't have happened.

Oldtimers disease is advancing rapidly.

My older brother on his 350 Honda used to street race his buddies on their X6 Suzukis. He came close to beating them once he put a better cam in it.

I'd like to find a 60's Kawasaki A1 (250cc) or an A7 (350cc) laying around. They were both 'twin' rotary valve engines and would be perfect candidates for a blower....ring ding--GONE! Either one would make a killer café or record breakin' bike at the salt flats!
