Vintage Motorcycle Eccentrics

I proposed this before but didn't get much response.
I prefer group meets at garages or shops, not in restaurants unless it's a Christmas party for instance.
We are not a large enough group to have a club house like some clubs.
I will offer my shop for the next meet Oct. 19.
I have no way of contacting many in the group so let me know who is interested.
I can offer hotdogs and drinks or pizza if I have a head count.

Of course John, mark me 'in' for a vote.

It would be much easier to float around and visit with different folks for discussions in a shop type meeting. I know that we can move around during our restaurant meetings and I often do that, but it doesn't lend itself to it very easily.

Having a shop meeting would also encourage Show & Tell! I don't think the restaurant would appreciate us bringing in motorcycle parts. HaHa

Two days ago, Jay was just telling me about his Honda 90 swing arm bushings that 'proved immovable' for replacement! I'd sure would liked to have seen that swing-arm in person before he purchased another used one.

Anyhow and anyway, a shop meeting once and a while would be fun!

I'm in for that but wonde .....Would having the regular meeting at the Cornerhouse be scraped ? Would you want to eat and set up another date to meet at a garage? Will those that don't use this page or Facebook figure this out and not end up sitting alone at the restaurant? Would it be on weekends or a week night? Just wondering

I haven't called anyone yet to see if they would like to come. If everyone who is a regular on the forum puts the word out no one will be left sitting at the Cornerhouse. At the next meet, everyone can decide where the next meet will be, hopefully at someone's garage. I have numbers for 4 or 5 that don't use the forum or regularly attend.

As long as I know where, I can try to get there.

I do remember some meetings at the Cornerhouse that only 4 or so of us made.
