Placing 4th or 5th is better than DNF: all are superior to DNS.

Slower is sometimes better.

Glad to hear you are getting better.

I knew that me offering to help would get you back out in that shop!

What you going to do with the toaster John? Paint it and put it in the shop? Crumpets and tea with the Triumph?

Well, I haven't received the toaster yet but Crumpets and Trumpets sounds like a good name for a Saturday morning shop gathering. What do you think.

Bill Stevens, president of WVM (Washington Vintage Motorcycles) had cordially offered to deliver the Bonnie tank and fenders
this Sunday. What a guy. I think I know what the catch is.....something about his Goldie motor needs freshened up this winter.

Having never eaten a crumpet I had to look up a recipe. Doesn't sound that appetizing. Wish I could be at your crumpet tasting party but I have to photograph a soccer game that day in Seattle. Crumpets indeed. Enjoy!

Jim showed up but no crumpets. Probably off my diet anyway.
The boys delivered the tank and fenders today. Sure looks nice. Can't wait to get them installed then back on wheels.

Great visit it was and nice to meet the guys from the other club.. Good talks and lots to learn in this group. Its amazing just how much knowledge of bikes was present during that meeting of the minds... Nice tank and fenders for sure. I will have to work on the crumpets for sure.

The sheet metal is all mounted and without a scratch. I'm getting excited now to see the wheels on. Still a bit of wiring and making cables. Shouldn't be long now, I hope.
