62 Triumph Bonneville

It's been a few years since I rode the Bonnie. While I was mothballing it, I dropped it, denting the tank, fenders, headlight and gauges. It's time for a complete restoration so down to nuts and bolts. Then Paint, powder and chrome. It was my dream ride back in 62 when I graduated from high school. It's still my favorite. I will be reminiscing of those good times, and all the traffic tickets while doing the build.

The engine stand is now finished. It will make working on the motor much easier. The exhaust ports are slightly oiled up so
while other parts are out for paint and powder, the top end will get rebuilt with rings and possibly valve guides.

Making more tools. This makes disassembling these shocks much easier.

Next will clean the parts and send them off for powder and paint.

I found why the fork tube was sticking. A small dent at the bottom of the lower tube. With Georges help and a bit of engenuity, the problem is solved. Now it's ready for powder coating.
