Progress has been slow lately but the Bonnie is a roller now. I'm still trouble shooting a wiring problem
(6 volt/positive ground). This was the last year for the 6v alternator/magneto setup. I'm waiting for a new rectifier and battery, then more testing.

Wow! with 10,000 views on the build, I'm shocked. Guess I'd better get back to work on the Bonnie. I've actually made some progress but nothing noticeable. Hopefully this week will be productive so I can wrap up the project.

People await the finish... and then the next project. Well done John.

Happy New Year!
What are your new year's resolutions?? I want to finish more projects.
We're on the home stretch with the Bonnie and should be ready to test it out next week. The first time I switched the headlamp on, the ammmeter needle showed a discharge but when the light was switched off the needle did not return until
I tapped the headlamp bucket. So a new gauge has been ordered.
I'm still looking for the correct 5/16 id x 9/16 od clear fuel line which is an odd size for a motorcycle but common in beer making accessories. The difference is beer tubing is not compatible with gasoline.

Always wear protective gear. Usually SPF 30 will do.

I found one at Motion Pro that will pass. https://www.motionpro.com/product/12-0060
Correct size though not the correct tubing, it will do for now.
