"Welcome to Ewan! We’re delighted to share our new poster – and the news that @Speed_is_Expensive will be narrated by motorcyclist and actor Ewan McGregor. The story of Philip Vincent is one of the most compelling in automotive history – and one of the greatest actors of our generation is now telling it. Our poster is based on stunning original artwork by our friend Conrad Leach.
Ewan joins contributors such as Jay Leno, along with artist, musician and motorcyclist Paul Simonon – plus the late John Surtees, who worked at the factory and knew Philip Vincent well, before going on to become the only person to claim world titles on two and four wheels.
Behind the camera, this year we’ve been joined by EP Peter Grimsdale - one of the UK’s most highly-rated producers and a former commissioning editor at Channel 4 - along with editors Russell Icke and Liz Deegan.
With their input, our film has been chosen as a finalist in the Barnes Film Festival, which runs in London mid-June.
Look out for ticket details, an interview with Ewan’s Long Way co-star Charley Boorman... and our trailer – all coming soon."
