A pack of TY175's!

If in doubt, or it doesn't seem to fit elsewhere - put it here.

The generic kickstart lever will work as a backup with a couple of hours of fettling. The pinch bolt head does touch the cover when the lever is rotated all the way down. I bit more machining may solve that issue.

I'm looking for a Yamaha cdi unit that will replace the points. Possibly from a DT or IT model of the same era. I'm sure the latest aftermarket units are much better but for now I'm just trying to go cheap. Trying to set the points through a 1/2" hole is crazy at best.

I think we're all busy right now. Bill is still collecting exotic parts for his TY build. I'm 'organizing', a separate work area for the other TYs since they will be an ongoing project for quite some time. Picked this up this 175 locally and other than the color it's a decent little bike. Sounds like it's ready for a piston though. Been riding it around the shop and it feels awkward. Maybe I can get use to it. Haven't touched the suspension so that may help. So what trials bike do you have spinner?
