Yes, everything ive ordered has gotten here, I’ve been finishing up other jobs/projects- then start on engine.

How is the 750 sei coming? Projects are backing up here but I guess that's what winter is for. Still gathering parts for different projects that l hopefully get to.

I have done nothing! Too much other stuff going on and not the time to really dig in.
   I really need to finish stripping the frame, then I can use the other lift for stuff.
I like using my ‘main’ lift for working on the engine, since it is big, well lit and can set at just the right height for working.

Making a ‘Guinness knock-off’ today.

Hmmmm, Haven't had a good black and tan for a long time.

I managed to get a bit of time to work on the big Benelli (I got a darn cold too- slowed me down).
I stripped the rest off the frame, just need to take off swingarm now.

Next I’ll sand or sandblast the frame before painting (might powder-coat, but probably paint).

Still have things to finish before diving into re-assembling the engine.

Been wondering how the project was moving along. Other things have a habit if getting in the way for sure .
Assembling that motor will definitely demand full concentration. I have a portable sandblaster you are welcome to use.
Actually, two of them. One is a siphon type and the other is a Harbor Freight pressure pot.

Yes, I want lots of time and room for the engine. It is pretty straightforward, but I want to keep focused on it when I start.
I have not gone through the head yet either.

Of course, I may go riding tomorrow instead of working. Haha

The head is all apart and I’m cleaning carbon. After cleaning well, valves look quite good, guides have very little play.
I’ll check, but I think I can just lap the valves.
Still loads more cleaning to do. (It is pretty messy)
I think I’ll try to get the head done before I start with the bottom end. It is a lot easier to deal with size wise and I can use another work bench. For the bottom end, I’ll use my lift.

Sounds like a tedious job. If you get stuck, I have a Neway seat cutter set and also access to a valve grinder.
