I did an initial clean up on a spare sei cam cover.
The vaporhoner certainly does a nice job.

That sure makes a nice finish. I put a handful of bolts in the Thumbler Tumbler thinking it would quickly remove the light rust and old cad plating. Apparently I ordered a media that's too fine. I'll order some coarse and see what happens.
Do you have any way to clean bolts in the vapor blaster?

So far, best way I’ve found is to put the bolts in one of those magnetic trays. Then hold each bolt/nut with hemostats.
Sort of clunky, but I have not lost any yet.
I’ve seen where the are put in a ‘cage’ and tumbled with the blast then going into the cage. I have not tried that.
I use pretty fine media, but it certainly works well with the vaporhoner.
I wonder if a screen in two halves that could be clamped together- holding the parts? May just have to reposition parts once. Have to think on that one.

I do have a perforated cylinder for the media blaster that's made for blasting small parts. It works well but the vibratory tumble should do the job by itself if I get the correct media. Some of the small parts are stainless steel so magnets wouldn't work there.
