Your job looks nicer than mine. I'm ok with magnetos and generators, that's about it.

I bought a nice label printer awhile back. Type in stuff on the iPad and print- multi line etc if needed. Different colour backgrounds (including clear).
It sure makes things nice. I printed labels for most of the wiring ends as I was drawing up ‘sub-sytem’ schematics from the German/Italian and some English factory ones. Took awhile, but everything worked when I plugged it in.

I turned it over with the handlebar ‘start’ button and got oil pressure! Good start anyway.
Mounted Accel coils, make bracket for modern fusebox and modern alternator (It has an alternator, but this is a permanent magenet one and new type regulator/recitifer. More output too (heated gear is nice).

Made up some nice heavyduty (but very flexible) battery cables, finished up with the taillamp/rear turnsignal wiring. Bolted all that together well and even mounted the collector plate.
I’ve been doing the carbs and figuring out what other little things I forgot to get new. Oh well

Still more done.
I test fitted three pipes, but the brackets they sent are completely wrong. I ordered proper ones- and I’ll just keep finishing other stuff until they get here. I could fabricate some, but I have enough other stuff to do rather than spend a lot time on that.

Just a test fit (waiting in proper brackets). But looks pretty good anyway.

Cleaned up and painted the seat pan and foam, installed new seat cover- I still can tighten more, not glued at this point. In fact it was not glued from the factory, rather little triangle pieces that were pushed up from the seat base to anchor.

That tank is a spare- too rusty inside to use without doing a bunch of work. I already did the Caswell treatment on original tank (it wasn’t too bad, just a few spots- but I’ve had good results with this stuff in the past).

Starting to sand the fuel tank and prep for paint.

Made up some clear labels for the new style fusebox.
I added two relays
1- coil ‘IN’ wire triggering relay to supply full battery voltage to new alternator
2- Coil power triggered by same ‘IN’ coil wire. Assuring full power to coils (will power new ignition from this too.
