The latest American Pickers show "Corvette King (HISTORY Mon 24 Jun 2019)" showed John's old chevy powered drag bike "Truth"
Always wear protective gear. Usually SPF 30 will do.

I missed that the first time I watched the show.
TRUTH is now at home with the son of the original builder. It's been restored and may make a couple of exhibition runs this summer before being retired permanently.

Did Truth originally have dual disc brakes on the front?

Truth went through stages over time starting with a springer forks, Vincent forks and custom made forks with dual disks.
The owner is looking for a Vincent front end for it's final stage but at $ 5-6 grand a set we'll see. I purchased Truth when
I learned they had built it using the front off my Vincent including the steering head which had serial #s that matched my motor. The owner wouldn't consider exchanging the steering head for another so I eventually purchased the bike and did the exchange. This concert poster was done by the famous Alton Kelly who also did many concert posters back in the day for
Janice Jopin, Greatful Dead and other.
