Land Speed Racer RIP

If in doubt, or it doesn't seem to fit elsewhere - put it here.

Land Speed Racer RIP

Postby John H » Thu Jul 28, 2016 4:58 pm

We lost a true icon motorcycle racer this week, doing what he loved most, seeing how fast he could go.
Sam Wheeler possibly would have been the first motorcycle streamliner over 400mph. He had already been over
350 and the new machine was designed to go over the 400 mark. When the unknown boundries are pushed to
the limit sometimes there is no second chance.
Rest in peace Sam.

Valerie Thompson has purchased the Bub #7 streamliner and will be testing / training to be the first 400mph motorcycle streamliner. Hope it all goes well, we don't want to lose another rider.

Sucks when this happens, it's part of the game but that doesn't make it any easier for sure
