Sizable skid pan.
I suspect this is similar to racing snowmobiles on water. Keep the speed up, and hope the engine keeps running.

Anyone have a donor bike? I'd like to try that at the mouth of the Elwha.
Always wear protective gear. Usually SPF 30 will do.
