I went to a trials even today - first one I've ever even seen.
I rode the OSSA, and had loads of fun!
I also won my class, which was pretty cool. First section I cleaned- but of course I messed up plenty of others.

I could certainly see where I need to initially work on stuff- but felt in good control.
What a blast! A buddy came by and took a bit of video.

I also picked up a vintage bike. 1986 Honda TLR200. Lots of extra parts, needs work. But should be a fun bike and good loaner. Maybe sell later.

You should friend my buddy Jay Lael on facebook. He is a world class trials rider and would be a good guy to trials ride with... He showed me how to do some when we were kids... on Hodakas.....

Did a trial over on Whidbey island.
Great fun!
I got a lowly second this time- but pretty close to first. I should have gotten better- but goofed up.

A guy on a 1980 Bultaco rode with the novice group (generally vintage bikes do).
Many, he was a good rider! He got 4 points! (I got 29).

After I get the TLR fixed up, if someone wants to try a vintage trial let me know.
