Turkey Run

If in doubt, or it doesn't seem to fit elsewhere - put it here.

Turkey Run

Anyone else planning to ride? I'll be with my 13yo son camped out there. I am thinking I'll ride my 85 KTM 250 and give the mighty 380 a rest. I still love the 250 and it is an appropriate choice for the poker run pace. Doug

Doug,
Can't make it to the Turkey Run but would still like to do a 'come see my collection/shop/projects etc. at your place sometime.
I'm still moving in, sorting and hooking up in my shop. When done, I will do the same.

The DNR guy was here (pa power). He daid they will be checking spark arresters, orv tags and you have to have a discover pass to park. Alot of riders have been in for tire and such. Should be a good turn out. Good luck to every one going!!

I didn't see this, but I went (KTM 300 XCW, plated).

It was fun, but super dusty. I managed to get some clear space along the ridge and had a fun pace.
One guy was off the side (a few of us stopped and helped him back on the trail)- he was fine, hope he found his Kickstart lever.

The twisty section down near the river was pretty fun.
The trials tyres front/rear worked fantastic.

Those YouTube vids are private.
Always wear protective gear. Usually SPF 30 will do.

Thanks, but taking it easy with dust and lots of people.

Wish I had more of other people, but most of the time I couldn't follow very closely because of the dust.
Plus I managed to get some open space a few time also...

The sound isn't too exciting. Typical 300 running way down low rpm.
