Ice racing

If in doubt, or it doesn't seem to fit elsewhere - put it here.

The first Phantom I had.
Wish I still had it! 197lbs, tons of power, great bottom end power also. Handled really well, very good suspension for the day. Brakes about average (crappy). Wheelie machine.
Just picked it up in these pics.

Nice! Brand new Ossa! My cousin had a Pioneer. It was a monster to me at the time. Have you seen Ossa's new 2strk trials bike? Very trick. I hear theyre trying to bulld a US dealer network. It would be good to see the Spaniards make a comeback. I wonder what the new Pursang would be like? The only spanish bike I ever had was an El Tigre 250. My friends dad was a Sherpa T owner at the time and gave me hell about it saying it was a street bike with knobbies and I shouldve kept my Super Combat 125. I rode the Bolta for a couple years. It was easy to poke around town on and fast on top. Sold it and got a Maico Spider that i could barley start and crashed alot. That was another "shoulda kept it" bike.

I've been looking hard at the new OSSA Explorer.
Basicly the trials bike with a seat.
If I had the money I'd buy one.
Even thought about being a dealer...but that means lots of cash out to do it right, and I'm not sure there is the market here.
Plus would the area support another bike shop in the area? Not now I don't think.

That things looks cool. KTM makes that Freeride bike thats enduro/trials and I think has a elec engine option. I think a trials brand would do ok here. Don and I have talked about us getting a trials brand here. I think its scorpa or Sherco thats tied in with Yamaha in a round about way. I bet all it would take is getting 2-3 out the door and in the hills and you'ld be rolling.
