New ride

If in doubt, or it doesn't seem to fit elsewhere - put it here.

New ride

I sold the Scrambler and bought a new ride.

1974 XL250 in pretty good "not museum quality" condition. Here it is on the ride home from Lake Stevens.

Many thanks to Jim for the transport!
Always wear protective gear. Usually SPF 30 will do.

1974 XL250 in pretty good condition despite the lack of a couple of engine mount bolts. Here it is on the ride home from Lake Stevens.

Pretty slick Jay. Are those the original tires?

Previous owner did a "frame off" restoration a few years ago. Everything looks almost new except for a few scratches. The owners manual appeared to be unopened under the seat. Not original tires, these are Bridgestone Spitfire street tires, original tires would have been knobbies. It does need a headlight, anyone know where I can get a 6 volt 5" bulb?
