Re: Shadow Build

I stand corrected, It's probably a 19" Matador front wheel not a pursang. The 370 Pursang forks are different as well. And the tank and the seat and the shocks!! May be too expensive to restore to original.

Re: Shadow Build

My first bike was a Rickman Bultaco Metisse. Then a new Pursang in 72 as well as a 360 El Bandido. Since then I've always had a Bultaco. Re: Shadow Build

Had a good time at the WVM bike show in Lynden this past weekend. Lots of cool bikes and goodies. I think around 100 or more entries. Larry and I took seven bikes over. I hadn't planned on buying anything but came home with another Pursang. Another project :?

Re: Benelli 250 2C

Oops, I meant Italian.
I find that if I 'zero' the chuck on the rotary head with a pointer then I can move the 'x' or 'y' axis to the cutting position. I've only done simple machining with the rotary, never any odd number cuts like in some splines.

Re: Benelli 250 2C

Someone actually makes mistakes like me??? Interesting that you find a mix of metric to sae threads on a German bike. Be glad you aren't dealing with Brit bike that has combos of all threads.

Re: Benelli 250 2C

Looking good. What is the reason for the additional flywheel near the right connecting rod?
