Re: Engines

I used to have an AJS 250 single.
I gave it away since I knew I'd never get around to fixing it up, and no place to store it.
I think the guy parted it out - that is really too bad.

Do you want a 500cc Kawasaki 2-stoke single engine?

Re: Ossa for parts

I saw that one.
I'd snap it up if it wasn't so far.

Anyone going to Vancouver?

Re: Trials riding

I have both newer and older Trials bikes.
I trail ride it most of the time, but do some events also.

I was looking into hosting and PST even out this way someday ( perhaps)
Need to talk to the local DNR.
They have special trials areas in one DNR area.

Re: 2015 Turkey run

With the amount of suspension I have I always look for the smoothest lines! Turning tightly and quickly isn't a problem. It was funny to watch guys in front of me bouncing and sliding all over, charging into corners and brake sliding-- while I was going the same speed just rolling along smoothly. I ...

Re: 2015 Turkey run

I always like talking to people I only see once a year.

Trails are very easy- but still lots of fun.

I did about 40-50 miles today -and a LOT more tired!

2015 Turkey run

Here is a video of the 2015 Turkey run.
I tired to follow people as much as I could to take vids...
Followed Doug quite a distance.

Re: 1974 OSSA Explorer

I don't ride up there very much anymore.
Sure wish I could build some tight trails up there!

I don't know who is in charge of the trails anymore there.

1974 OSSA Explorer

Took my 1974 OSSA Explorer out a few weeks ago on the Footies.
Bike runs wonderfully, loads of power down low, handles great and brakes are awful!

Lots of fun!

At work

Nothing to do with motocycles, but thought some of you may lime this vid. Over 12,000 ft on Mauna Loa- I'm belly booking a net of tools to go back out. We were replacing a tower and antennas that failed in the hurricane. Wind was 'brisk' I had everything I had on- COLD! http://youtu.be/ysfOjAKI_4k
