Parts got here a bit ago and I’m working on the valves now. I’ll do a bit of port matching, but nothing else. I did that on my original sei and it worked out really well.
I moved the engine off the lift and onto my transmission jack- strapping it down. That way I can move it around. Most of the parts I was waiting on came in- the last ones are one the way. I have more polishing to do so I can mount the clutch cover - then maybe install the alternator. But I may just ...
Darn- at least you caught it now. Parts from Germany are actually shipped now. I will not be buying anything from that outfit again unless nobody else in the world has it.

I installed gearbox etc, bolted down bottom half of case. Still more to do (waiting on some head parts too)- but coming along really well. All new bearings- including many that were just fine. I don’t want to have to do it again to save a few bucks on bearings. The gearbox ones are quite good sized....
