Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014

Thank you John.

Hope all goes well with you.

What I'd really like for Christmas is a bit more time in a day. Seems 24 hours isn't enough to get all I want done, and some sleep too. Seems like I need to get more sleep these days, so less time to work on toys.

Re: RADIO CHECK

Will be interested in seeing what you come up with. If I understand the concept correctly, there is still a resonance consideration with gas springs, just not the torsional spring rate like in a coil spring. I lost track of the process, but someone was experimenting with electrical solenoid process ...

Re: Uniflow

The weakness' for the steam engines was the inlet valve mechanism, and the bore variation due to the temperature variance.
Getting the spring rate correct should be interesting for your supercharged version.

Re: uniflow

Should be an interesting design. I'm fairly familiar with uniflow steam engines (old, obsolete mill service) but don't think I've ever seen an internal combustion engine based on the principle.

Still here John.
T he site has been a bit quiet lately. I think yours is the first post since Thanksgiving and the bike show.

Thanks Jay:

Can always use a discount code, though I don't know if I'll be able to go.
