Re: Garage art

Is this the beginning of a new gallery Jay? If a picture is worth a thousand words, maybe we can revive the Olymoto forum.
Here's my contribution.

Re: Trials riding?

Once broke an ankle when I stepped off my Bultaco trials bike and landed on the back wheel. Foot ended up between the wheel and shock. Someone pulled the spark plug wire off to kill it. I still have my Alpina but it's not a real trials machine.

Watching the DAKAR

This week is the Dakar race. 6700 miles. Looks like quite a few motorcycles. Should be some good tv.

Re: aluminum cleaning

Bekkevar's soda blast cabinet about the same as mine. The vapor blasting leaves a much brighter finish than soda. It's actually glass beads with high pressure water and air.

Back in the day photos

How about sharing some of your old bike photos and stories. Here's one from 1974 when I was into hill climbing. This was at St. Joseph, Mo. This hill along the Missouri river bluffs was 600 foot and nobody made it over the top that day. Gee! was that really 41 years ago.
