Re: A pack of TY175's!

Those pesky little ball bearings can be easy to loose. (Or remember if you installed). Nice to get some more things fixed up. I made a goofup and bent my aluminum bike hauler rack badly. So I ordered some new metal, cut and welded up. Now I am installing wiring for the lights I added (using some pex...

Re: OSSA Super Pioneer

The Super is MUCH lighter.
Differences as far as I know;
Phantom type frame
New porting
Better forks
Phantom seat (much better).

It weighs 205 lbs and snappier than the regular Pioneers. Still a lot of low end power but they handle better.

Re: OSSA Super Pioneer

I took the Super Pioneer out today. Went up Mt Angeles rd and up on the overpass, up the old burn and onto Foothills. I rode a bunch of the new trails since I’ve been there last. The Trials area is a clear cut- so we all lost much interest. All easy trails but still fun. Went to the new parking area...

Re: Benelli 250 SuperSport (egg)

I think that is a 250. Looks like a Zanzani bike

Re: 72 Benelli 175 Enduro

I can get flexible filament- but I do not know how flexible it really is. I have not gotten any yet to try.
I will do a bit of research.

Re: 72 Benelli 175 Enduro

I had taken the 175 out for a much longer ride- ran great. But after stopping for half an hour or so, I went to restart. Generally this bike wants the enricher on, even after such a short ‘off’ time. But when I flipped up the little plastic ‘cam’- it broke. Darn.   I used a stick to hold the rod up ...

Re: Benelli 250 SuperSport (egg)

How does the SuperSport single compare compare to the twin? It is lighter, brakes are not as good, engine has quite a lot more mid-range power. Handles very well, but the twin may be even better. It feels much more like an older bike while the twin has a very modern feel. Makes sense since the sing...

Re: Benelli 250 SuperSport (egg)

The first longer ride displayed some clutch slippage. I did not replace the clutch when doing the rebuild, for reasons that must have made sense at the time. Fortunately, I had a complete clutch pack new in the package, and it is quite easy to put the new ones in. So now the clutch works great and I...
