Yes, I will double check next time. I'm lucky to have the extra flywheels, just have to wait for a new oversize main shaft before I can proceed.

I have disassembled the crank and will start over with different flywheels. This route will allow me to use the crank pin that is already matched to the rod bearing inserts. I have a larger pin set I can use with a different pair of rods later. On setting up the fixture in the mill again I discovere...

How's the little Benelli Dynamo coming along? Is the special tool tray filling up? I'm constantly building special tools, many are just for holding a part that needs repaired, sometimes with another special tool.

It's getting there, nothing like personal taste and comfort. Tri-Spark is a good addition for a smooth runner. I will be adding one on my Hornet when the time comes.

Yes, here's the assembly. You can now see the end piece doesn't register on the shoulder of the ram and isn't snug so is held on with a set screw. Post 849 is the same photo.
